Terms of Service

These terms govern use of SunsetSanctuary, a privately operated application for connected email, calendars, and personal automation. The operator can be contacted at tyler@atheart.engineering. By choosing to use the application, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not connect accounts or use its automation features.
Private, authorized use
SunsetSanctuary is available to its operator and people the operator expressly authorizes. This informational website does not offer public registration. You may connect only accounts you own or have permission to manage, and must comply with applicable laws and the terms of connected services.
Connected accounts and automation
Features may include searching and reading email, processing attachments, applying labels, generating summaries and notifications, and reading calendar information. The features available depend on the permissions you grant and the workflows enabled for your accounts.
You are responsible for reviewing the permissions and automation settings you authorize, protecting your account access, and checking important results. Automated classifications and AI-generated summaries can be incomplete or incorrect. Check original messages and events before relying on a summary or taking a consequential action.
Acceptable use
Do not use SunsetSanctuary to access another person's account without permission, send spam, distribute malware, interfere with service operation, or bypass access controls. Report suspected unauthorized access to the operator.
Your data and privacy
You retain your rights in your content. Connecting an account permits SunsetSanctuary to access and process the authorized data to provide the features you enable; it does not transfer ownership of your content. Data access, processing, sharing, retention, and deletion are described in the Privacy Policy.
Third-party services
SunsetSanctuary uses services such as Google APIs and may use messaging or AI providers for configured features. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices. Their outages, permission changes, quotas, or account restrictions can affect SunsetSanctuary. The application is independently operated and is not a Google product or an endorsement by Google.
Availability and limitations
The application is provided as available, without a promise of uninterrupted operation, error-free results, or a particular support response time. Features may change or be discontinued. Maintain independent copies of important information and do not rely on SunsetSanctuary as your only way to receive urgent messages or manage critical events.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator makes no warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
Ending access
You can stop using the application and revoke its permissions through Google Account connections. You can also ask the operator to disable workflows or disconnect an account. The operator may suspend access to address misuse, security concerns, or service maintenance. Revoking access does not automatically delete previously stored data; deletion requests are handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
Updated terms will appear here with a revised effective date. Material changes affecting authorized users will be communicated before they take effect. If you do not accept revised terms, stop using the application and disconnect your accounts.
